The conference will be held at two locations:

The first part in rural Thailand, Nongkhai provice of northern Thailand and the second part in Bangkok. In between there will be one day for traveling from Nongkhai to Bangkok.

In Nongkhai conference participants will join the local full moon candle floating festival called Loy Krathong, on Saturday 24th November.

In Bangkok participants can take part in academic sessions, plenary sessions and workshops; and attend cultural events.

Thursday 22 November

(Buddhist monastery in the forest tradition, 40 km from Nongkhai)

Opening: International Interfaith Gathering includes Buddhist monks from Bhutan, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and practitioners from other beliefs

Afternoon: Workshops 'Spiritual Playground'

The mini film festival, Monday 26 November 2007, will include the Asian premiere of the groundbreaking documentary film The H Factor ...... Where Is Your Heart? by Lisa Kamen, graduate student in Los Angeles, US. The film is an ongoing film exploration, collecting expressions of happiness in diverse cultures and unusual circumstances.
