GNH Project Summary

GNH Project Summary / English version

1. Rationale of the Project Design

The design of the workshop series as well as the provisional conceptual framework for action-research are drafted in accordance with the Four Pillars of Gross National Happiness:

Workshop 3 Food Crisis? How to feed the world and protect the environment: problem solving capacity of the organic agriculture movement. Bridging the urban/rural divide.
Equitable Economic Development
Workshop 5 The Global GDP Debate: How to build consensus on a Quality of Life for All standard Wellbeing or GNH Index guiding (local, national, global) policy development and business transformation towards a sustainable and just economy
Synthesis and Action Plan
Workshop 6 Recommendations to stakeholders for future action based on a new paradigm for change and supported by action-research, capacity building and media strategy
